DESCRIPTION:The City of Huntington Beach has asked the Chamber for help\, and we're turning to our business community.With high tides\, elevated surf and incoming rain expected\, the City is holding a Storm Ready Community Meeting on Thursday\, November 5 at 6:00 PM at the Huntington Beach Senior Center. Residents will learn about possible flooding impacts and how to protect their homes. Many of them will leave wanting to know who they can call.The Chamber is building a list of local businesses that residents can contact for help. If your company works on:Seawalls and bulkheadsDock repair or extensionsFlood barriers\, sandbagging or water diversionDrainage\, grading or waterproofingOther flood prevention or storm-damage servicesSign up to be included. We'll share the list with the community and keep adding to it as new businesses sign up.
